It doesn't matter if you want to create a personal space or not. This will get you traffic.

First, join one place at a time. Don't try to do it all in a day. This will take a bit of time but it will be well worth your effort.

After you have joined one of the social sites, create your profile or edit your profile to include information about your website(s).

Once you have all the above done, here comes the best part...

Go to Groups or Clubs, hereafter referred to as clubs. Search for clubs about your niche or website topic.

Join a couple clubs and add a post about your website.

Every day go back and join a couple more clubs and repeat the above process.

The first time I did this in only 2 clubs, I had 7 hits in about 5 minutes. This will make things happen very fast in your business.

Join as many clubs as your time will allow. Remember to make your post. After some time passes, you can go back an post reminders in the same clubs. Don't spam though. Make your post short and sweet. Only post in each club about once every 3 to 4 weeks unless the club has rules that state otherwise.

These sites all have a place you can create a blog or journal. Create a blog in the networking site about your business.

Join a couple of clubs to add friends. When you get a lot of friends you can ask them to read your blog.

This will really boost your business so do it even if you don't like these types of sites.

Facebook - I don't know much about this one. Someone told me about it. I haven't had a chance to do anything with it.

My Space - Unless you have been living under a rock, you already know about My Space. This website is #3 in Alexa. That means it is the third most popular website in the world. You can probably get some leads here. lol
